HAPPY INDEPENDENCE DAY TO GHANA AS THEY BECOME 58th TODAY

Today March 6, 2015 the great nation of Ghana becomes 58. They gained their independence from the British on the 6th of March 1957,after the Britain relinquished its control over the Gold Coast and Ashanti, the Northern Territories Protectorate, and British Togoland.

In May 1956, Kwame Nkrumah's Gold Coast government issued a white paper with proposals for Gold Coast's independence. On 3 August 1956, the Gold Coast Assembly adopted Kwame Nkrumah's resolution demanding independence from Britain. The British Government stated it would agree to a firm date for independence if a reasonable majority for such a step were obtained in the Gold Coast Legislative Assembly after a general election.
The 1956 election returned the Convention People's Party (CPP) to power with 71 of the 104 seats in the Legislative Assembly. Ghana became an independent state on March 6, 1957, when Britain relinquished its control over the Gold Coast and Ashanti, the Northern Territories Protectorate, and British Togoland.

 After a long period of colonial rule, the newly elected Assembly of Ghana, passed a motion directing the government to demand independence from Britain. As the opposition party was not part of the debate, the motion was passed with unanimous vote. The motion was also accepted by the British Government as representing the majority of the Assembly. In 1957 Ghana became the first African country to gain independence.

The husband of the model who featured in that raunchy Calvin Klein ad with Justin Bieber has separated from his wife just weeks after the risque photos were released. (couple pictured right)

Supermodel Lara Stone, 31, left the home she shared with husband, British comedian David Williams on Tuesday March 3rd with their 2 year old son and dog. The couple had been married for almost five years. There are now reports that their problems started after the release of these racy Calvin Klein ads which features her partly naked & Justin touching her anyhow. Guess not all husbands are liberal.

His friends said David was used to his model wife featuring in sexy ads but the one with Justin was a different matter, especially after it was widely reported that Justin asked Lara out on a date during the making of the ads, not realizing she was married. After many quarrels over the ads and other problems the couple had even before the making of the ads, the woman said she'd had enough and moved out of the couple's home. Friends say their marriage is done.

Thanks to TMZ Karrueche now knows Chris Brown is a dad

THANKS TO TMZ KARRUECHE NOW KNOWS CHRIS BROWN IS A DAD 

 Men can make women run mad sha. Almost looks like Karrueche used her hands to pull out her front hair after finding out her man of 5 years fathered a child while in a relationship with her. According to TMZ, Karrueche found out about the baby almost at the same time we all out found out.

Karrueche Tran was in the dark ... blindsided by Chris Brown's baby news just moments before TMZ broke the story. We're told Tran had absolutely no idea her boyfriend was a daddy -- much less a daddy with a baby mama with whom she partied.

Our sources say Karrueche and Brown had a blowout fight a week ago and weren't speaking, but he tried calling her after the story broke ... she did not pick up.  

DNA tests performed in the last week show conclusively ... Brown is the father of a 9-month-old baby with a former model named Nia. We're told he and Nia aren't romantic but they get along fine, and Chris has made some sort of financial arrangement with her.  

As for Karrueche ... we're told she's actually relieved, because it now gives her a clean, permanent out.

Election scenario....AIT suing Tinubu for N100billion

Bola Tinubu's media office released a statement on Monday saying they are set to sue Daar Communications, owners of AIT for what he said was a defamatory content of a documentary aired on Sunday about him on their station. Tinubu asked the TV station to retract the documentary, issue a letter of apology and demanded N20billion as cost of damage done to his reputation.

Well, AIT has counter-sued Tinubu. They are asking him to apologize for telling them to apologize to him when they were only just doing their job..lol. They are also asking for N100billion for injury inflicted on AIT. Choi! Lawyers go chop money anyhow.
